The Hydra V4 is a single-action OTF (out-the-front) knife featuring a button safety. It was the first of its kind to include both a button safety and a double-prong pocket clip. Since then, the clip design has been updated to reduce snagging, making this model more pocket-friendly.
To operate: slide the button safety forward with your thumb, then press the button beneath to deploy the blade. To retract, hold the button and pull the charging handle from the bottom of the knife. Release the button and return the charging handle to its resting position to recharge the spring and reset the mechanism for the next actuation. This is one of the few remaining single-action OTF knives still available, proudly made in the USA.
