MRP 12.5" MID CHROME LINED 1:7" TWIST 5.56 BARREL ONLY
Built for LMT’s MRP and MRP CQB quick-change barrel platform, this 12.5” barrel is chambered in 5.56×45 NATO and features a chrome-lined bore with a 1:7” right-hand twist.
The barrel arrives with its gas system already installed for use with compatible MRP upper receivers. LMT’s quick-change design allows the barrel to be removed and replaced using the retaining bolts located at the base of the handguard and tightened to the manufacturer’s specified torque. This system also makes it possible to configure a compatible MRP upper with different barrel lengths or calibers.
This 12.5” configuration was developed specifically to complement the L7Z1A “Spec War” upper receiver. Its short-dwell gas system is designed to provide a balanced recoil impulse and gas pressure when shooting either suppressed or unsuppressed while maintaining dependable operation.
