Ammo Recommendation
We recommend any brand of ammunition as long as it runs 1250 FPS or higher. This remains light target ammo, but the FPS threshold is intended to support consistent cycling.

Break-In Period
First 50 rounds: Use high brass heavy loads rated 1300 FPS or higher.
When your shotgun arrives, it may have factory oil from manufacturing. We recommend cleaning the SMX and applying a reputable gun oil. Then run the recommended break-in rounds to help ensure smooth cycling across light-to-heavy loads.
