SIG SAUER MCX - LTAW 300 BLACKOUT
THE LEGENDARY LVAW, REBORN FOR THE CIVILIAN MARKET.
For over a decade, the SIG SAUER LVAW (Low Visibility Assault Weapon) has been one of the most recognizable and sought-after firearms associated with America's elite Special Operations community. Originally developed for specialized military use, the LVAW became legendary for its compact .300 Blackout configuration, distinctive handguard, and suppressed design.
Until now, enthusiasts wanting to recreate the original LVAW have largely relied on scarce components, expensive clone builds, and aftermarket reproductions.
Enter the SIG SAUER MCX-LTAW.
Introduced in 2026, the LTAW brings the unmistakable appearance and heritage of the original LVAW to the commercial market, built around SIG's modern MCX LT platform.
Chambered in .300 Blackout with a compact 6.75-inch barrel, the LTAW retains signature design elements of its military predecessor, including the distinctive SD-style handguard with integrated heat shielding and markings for subsonic and supersonic gas settings.
The updated MCX LT platform adds modern ambidextrous controls, a refined operating system, and contemporary accessory compatibility while preserving the character that made the original LVAW a legend.
For collectors, military firearm enthusiasts, and dedicated SIG MCX fans, the LTAW represents a rare opportunity to own a factory-produced civilian interpretation of a previously military-exclusive design.
