The legendary Smith & Wesson Mountain Gun is back. Built around Smith & Wesson’s proven stainless-steel N-Frame, the new Mountain Gun brings back the classic lightweight tapered-barrel configuration while adding premium touches including Tyler Gun Works Bear Hug walnut grips, an adjustable rear sight, gold-bead front sight, and — importantly for collectors and traditionalists — no internal lock.
Designed to be lighter and easier to carry than a traditional heavy-barreled N-Frame, the Mountain Gun features a 4.125" tapered one-piece barrel, rounded black-powder-style bevel cylinder, round-butt frame, narrow flash-chromed hammer and smooth trigger. It delivers the classic look and handling that made the original Mountain Guns so desirable.
