Stemple Model 76 Chambered in 9mm, with Silencer.
Sub-Machine Gun
John Stemple started out in the mid-1980s by creating a somewhat rudimentary replica of the Swedish K submachine gun, chambered in .45 ACP, which he dubbed the Stemple 76/45. He manufactured and registered 2,000 transferable receivers for the firearm (pre-1986), though he assembled them gradually, producing just a handful at a time. In the late 1980s, he encountered criminal charges from the ATF, prompting him to hand over the receivers to a friend while he successfully contested and overcame the allegations.
