The Knight’s Armament 5.56 QDC/CRS-PRT represents KAC’s next generation of 5.56 suppressor technology, designed around reduced signature, durability, and improved performance on modern fighting rifles. Its additively manufactured Inconel 718 construction is engineered to withstand extreme heat and hard use, while KAC’s internal design focuses on reducing backpressure and the negative effects suppressors can have on the host firearm and shooter.
The CRS-PRT utilizes KAC’s proven QDC mounting system for fast, secure attachment to compatible 5.56 QDC muzzle devices. KAC’s current suppressor technology is designed to release retained bore pressure before extraction, helping reduce residual backpressure, fouling, and gas exposure compared with more traditional suppressor designs.
Built for serious use and backed by decades of Knight’s Armament suppressor development, the QDC/CRS-PRT is an excellent match for SR-15/SR-16 platforms and other compatible 5.56 rifles.
